This is a Stanley (Atha) blacksmith hammer with cross pein. The hammer head weighs about 3 pounds without the handle. The Stanley book says it is the traditional blacksmith forming hammer. All original and in EXCELLENT condition. The vintage is probably the 1940's and this is when the quality of tools were a top priority.
